Hello there!

I’m Precious Mabasaa Senior UX Designer and Certified Usability Analyst by HFI (Credential ID: 2020-7775).

I believe that life is made up of a series of varied experiences, so I seek to craft meaningful user experiences through my dedication to the art and science of design. I’m intrigued by the intricate ways in which humans interact with design and how designers can be advocates for the improved well-being of users.

My passion for design started in high school at Pro Arte Alphen Park and grew as I pursued a BA in Visual Communication at Open Window, specializing in UX/UI Design.

I began my career as a Junior Art Director at McCann Workgroup, working with brands like Waltons, Kauai, Chevrolet, MasterCard, and Maybelline. After transitioning to the financial sector, I contributed to projects at Ashburton Investments and Rand Merchant Bank (RMB), working on videography, photography, and digital design.

I further ventured into consulting for DVT in the short-term insurance industry with Telesure Investment Holdings, where I shaped digital sales journeys across brands like Budget Insurance, Auto & General, Dial Direct, and 1st for Women, improving client experiences and driving higher conversion rates.

Currently, I’m part of Emirates Group, where I create digital solutions integral to the airline’s operations.

Over my 11-year career, I’ve continued to explore new methods for crafting meaningful user experiences, thriving on research, data analysis, and creative problem-solving. Looking ahead, I aspire to pursue an MBA to enhance my strategic and leadership skills, enabling me to create even more impactful, user-centric designs.
